I participated as an official translator for Inerbrid in the Shanghai Electronica China event on July 8, 2024.
A big exhibition with numerous semiconductor companies invited to participate, Interbird engaged in this event to meet their buyer, partner companies, and other new innovative companies.
In addition to acting as a translator, this event gave me a valuable opportunity to see the products of major semiconductor companies such as Texas Instruments, Onsemi, etc. As a student interested in the business industry, learning about unique selling points and their marketing strategies was priceless. For example, many companies have products that are exclusive to China due to the country’s specific domestic regulations. To be specific, one foreign company – which has software targeting customers located in China – acts as a distributor of semiconductors. By providing features that are suitable for Chinese companies, such as specific payment systems and filtering products according to the country’s preference, they can maximize their Chinese customers.
